The range of wedding trips is huge. Where do you want to go, how long and which budget do you have?
After a lot of planning and work for several months before you wedding, you feel perhaps a little baffled that the wedding and party were so quickly passed. A wonderful way to extend the glorious wedding feeling is to go on a wedding trip. It is best to go on your wedding trip in direct connection to the wedding in order to retain “the wedding feeling”. If you wait too long there is a risk that the everyday existence has come too much into your life, and the trip will feel more like a common vacation trip. There is a big range of different companies that specialize in arranging wedding trips. The travel companies put the newly wed in focus and the destination is often to some exotic place. Of course, the wedding trip must not go to an exotic place. The wedding trip can also last for a couple of days. You can stay in a boarding house, go on a weekend trip, go on a cruise, rent a cottage or stay some nights in a hotel. Some advice before your wedding trip - Book your wedding trip to a place where neither of you have been to - Book your wedding trip in good time, at least a half-year in advance - Inform the travel agency that this is your wedding trip – it most often involves more consideration from their side - Remember to state “correct” surnames when you book your trip - Remember to get new passports if you change the surnames - If you want to travel to some of the classic paradise islands perhaps a winter wedding is perfect, since their high season is during our cold period - Plan your wedding trip carefully, what is important for you – hotel standard, place, lazy days on the beach, culture, sport/activities, shopping etc. Remember Take care of each other and enjoy your travel! |
