Pantheon – a roman temple later rebuilt to a church. Italy’s kings and the artist Rafael are buried here. Fontana de Trevi – most famous from the film ”La Dolce Vita” with Anita Ekberg and Marcello Mastroianni. If you throw a coin in the fountain, you will return to Rome. Piazza di Spagna – shopping centre The Vatican – the Catholic Church’s centre and the pope’s home. Here you will also find the world’s biggest church – the St. Peter’s Church with beautiful ceiling paintings of Michelangelo. Shopping in Rome If shopping is you passion, you are in the right place. In the Piazza di Spagna area you will find shops for fashion, designed bags, trendy shoes, jewellery, culinary experiences etc. Food and drink It cannot be said too often – the Italian food is fantastic!
