If you’re the Best Man, it will be your responsibility along with the rest of the Groom’s Men to organize the Bachelor party. As it is not everyday that your Best Friend gets married, where do you start? First, lay a plan and then get done with having a fun and memorable night.

Start Planning
Right at the beginning you will need to sit down with the Groom and decide when would be the best time to have your party. You will also need to know a list of people the Groom will want to invite. Collect phone numbers and/or email addresses. This way you will not have to involve the Groom any further in your planning and the party will be a bigger surprise.

What Suits the Groom
Whatever you plan to organize there is one thing to keep in mind: before you put the wheels in motion, decide whether the activities you have in mind really suit the Groom. Hopefully, you know him well enough to know what he’s into and what not. Be creative. If he’s sporty, organize tickets to the big game, get a box and start the party in style. Maybe he’s the type that likes to travel; book you, him and the rest of the party onto a weekend city break. Las Vegas, New York and Barcelona are all fantastic cities with so much to see and do.

Keep it Clean
Bachelor Parties might be branded as the Groom’s last night of freedom but it’s more honourable not to organize any last flings. Strip clubs or strippers are pretty common these days but not always as popular as you might think. It really does depend on the ‘Stag’. It is also advisable not to leave the Groom in any questionable situations so that they risk missing their wedding. To avoid any Wedding Day hiccups it is best to organize a bachelor party some weeks before the wedding.

Budget
You might not want to set a financial restriction your fun but it is necessary to make sure that everyone that is invited turns up. Send an email detailing how much everything will cost and avoid leaving the collection of the money until the night of the party.
