The bride’s gloves
What can be more sophisticated than a long pair of white gloves together with your wedding gown, just like the ones worn by Audrey Hepurn in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s?

Gloves that extend to the upper part of the bicep look wonderful together with sleeveless and strapless gowns. But if your gown has long sleeves it is most beautiful with short gloves or perhaps no gloves at all.

The rings are not carried outside the gloves. During the ceremony you will need to expose your ring finger at some point. You can make a slit on the glove’s ring finger, then slide your finger out. Be sure to tuck in the loose material inside the palm. You can also, of course, remove your gloves during the ceremony and hand them over to your maid. A very practice alternative is to wear a fingerless glove, either short or long. These gloves are often embroidered on the upper side of the hand.

You leave the gloves off in the receiving line and while eating and drinking during the reception.

Pay attention to the bridal bouquet, it can leave marks on the gloves.
