|
You want the bridal gown to be beautiful for many, many years – what shall you think of?
Most gowns can be cleaned by hand. If your gown is made of silk, or if there are stains on your gown of red wine, perfume or grass, you must take it to the dry cleaner. Suspend the bridal gown in your closet on a padded hanger. Use silk paper to avoid winkles on your gown. Preserve the bridal gown in a cool, dry and safe place. You can also keep the dress lying. You must not use plastics to preserve the bridal gown. Neither, is it advisable to preserve the bridal gown in your cellar. There is a huge risk that the moisture forms moulds on the gown. Unavoidable, the bridal gown will turn yellow as years go by. Time sets its patina also on bridal gowns. |
