Your wedding day make-up should match you wedding gown and the gravity of the situation.
Be sure your skin is clean before you put on the make-up, to get the best result. Start with the foundation, which should be so perfectly matched to your skin tone that it disappears. Use a blush to highlight your features. The colour on your lips is important. A strong colour put focus on your lips and a little more natural colour put focus on your eyes. Be sure to carry your lipstick with you for touchups. The most important in your face is your eyes. Big sparkling eyes always get attention. Do not wear too much eye make-up. Apply concealer to banish dark circles under your eyes. Remember to use matte eye shadows as they will not reflect light or look too shiny. This is also important to remember to get your pictures perfect. Wear at least two layers of mascara (that is waterproof and withstands tears!) and use an eyelash curler before applying the mascara. Do not use black or brown eyeliner, as they look too severe. Define your brows with a pencil or powder that matches your hair colour. |
