So you've got the girl of your dreams, you've set the date for your wedding, she's bought her dress but what have you got to wear? Now is the time to think about what you want to wear. Most important, above all is to match your suit to the theme of the wedding.

Style
Your style of suit or jacket will depend on the rest of the wedding. If you're having a formal daytime wedding, choose a morning coats for you and the grooms party. If it's a formal evening wedding you could opt for dinner jackets or a tuxedo.

If you want to stand out from your groom's men choose to have a similar but subtly different jacket. One button instead of three, a satin lapel or something along these lines.

Beach Wedding
If you're having a beach wedding the dress code for the groom can be more relaxed but must be smart. Choose plain white, off white or khaki tones and stick to linen or cotton to keep you feeling and looking cool.

The Suit
Your wedding suit should be a great fit. Take time going to a number of specialist shops to try on alternatives. To ensure you're getting the best fit, here's how to know that you are the most comfortable you could be in your suit: Flatten your collar all around your neck to avoid uncomfortable bulges. Your jacket should be long enough to cover your butt and the vent should be closed, or else it's too tight. The shoulder pads of your jacket should not extend more than a few millimetres over the shoulder for the perfect fit.

Accessorise
Accessories are a great way to incorporate theme colours of the wedding. Whether it's a bow tie, cummerbund or waistcoat - you can use the wedding colours in bold or subtle ways.
