Creating a wedding album can be a fantastic way to store all the memories you have of your day. If you give it your time and attention, you will end up with a book that tells your story and a real keepsake.

Photos
If you had a professional photographer, you may have an album already. There´s nothing to stop you from combining these photos with your own. Preview all your photos and contact family and friends to forward on any they may have.

Editing
There are a number of computer programs that allow you to edit your photos. You can eliminate red eyes, airbrush blotchy skin and take out dodgy backgrounds. Just don´t overdo the editing, as it can become too obvious and diminish the effect of the original shot. If you feel confident, you can try applying effects to some of your photos. Try changing a few shots from colour to black and white or sepia. You can even give some shots the feel of being a Polaroid snap. Do what you like the look of and it will all make your album completely personal and something you will treasure for years to come.

Printing
You could print your photos yourself on a digital printer. If you don´t have one, look at buying the one that provides the best quality pictures for a reasonable price. Alternatively, you could take your selection to photo processing shop or send them away online. You can often resize images before you print them. It could be nice to incorporate different sizes to make your album more interesting. It could also be useful for group photos.

Arranging
When you have your photos printed, it´s ready to think about arranging them in your album. Make sure you choose an album with enough pages. You might want to buy photo corners or have a special photo tracing paper cover to avoid finger prints spoiling your images. Start from the beginning of the wedding day and put your photos in chronologically. You might want to add in keeps sakes of your day, a pressed flower, some confetti, or the service program.
